We have everything you could need for your stay including....
- Gas stove for basic cooking and hot drinks
- Tableware including wine glasses and champagne glasses
- Champagne bucket
- Solar power charging - just bring your own cables to connect
- Dining table that can seat up to 6 people
- Folding bistro table for drinks
- Two reclining chairs
- Wooden bench with two storage seats underneath for seating inside or out
- Four folding stools for extra seating when needed
- Privacy screen for changing
- Kitchen utensils including wine/bottle opener
- Ceiling fan with light - wall mounted remote control
- Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sweetners and condiments
- Blankets for those chillier days

Beach Hut Guidelines
Please read the below guidelines to ensure your visit runs smoothly...
Welcome to our beach hut at Alum Chine Beach.
Please help us keep the hut safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.
General Use
1. Use the beach hut respectfully and responsibly at all times.
2. The hut must not be used for overnight sleeping or camping.
3. Please keep noise to a reasonable level and respect neighbouring hut users.
4. Maximum occupancy should not exceed the hut’s safe capacity.
5. Children must be supervised at all times.
Fire & Cooking Safety
6. No open fires, fire pits, candles, or disposable BBQs directly beside or inside the hut.
7. Smoking or vaping inside the hut is not permitted.
8. In an emergency call 999 and notify the seafront office if required.
Cleanliness & Waste
9. Please leave the hut clean and tidy after use.
10. All rubbish must be removed or placed in designated bins.
11. Do not pour food waste, oil, or liquids onto the beach or promenade.
12. Wet items should be shaken off before being brought into the hut where possible.
Beach & Seafront Regulations
13. Follow all BCP Council beach safety guidance and RNLI instructions.
14. Dogs are restricted on parts of Alum Chine beach between 1 May and 30 September except in designated dog-friendly zones.
15. No ball games or activities that may endanger others near the hut frontage.
16. Do not obstruct promenades or access ramps.
Hut Care
17. Furniture and equipment should remain inside the hut unless being used nearby.
18. Please lock the hut whenever leaving unattended.
19. Please ensure no wet swimwear or wet skin comes into contact with the wooden folding chair cushions.
End of Visit Checklist
Before leaving:
* Remove all rubbish
* Ensure you take your personal belongings
* Turn off gas hob
* Return furniture neatly
* Lock the hut securely
* Please message me on 07896 190777 to confirm you have left the beach hut securely
Beach Hut Hire Terms & Conditions
By confirming your booking, you agree to the following terms:
1. Security Deposit
A £35 security deposit is required with every booking. This deposit is held to cover:
- Damage to the beach hut or its contents
- Lost, missing, or broken items
- Excessive cleaning or misuse
The deposit will be refunded within 24 hours after your hire period, subject to inspection of the beach hut and its contents.
2. Cancellation Policy
Please note that bookings are made at your own discretion and no refunds will be given due to poor or unsuitable weather conditions.
If you choose to cancel, the following refund policy applies:
- 7 days or more before your booking:
Full hire fee refunded.
£35 deposit is non-refundable. - 3–6 days before your booking:
50% of the hire fee will be refunded.
£35 deposit is non-refundable. - Less than 48 hours before your booking:
No refund will be given on either the hire fee or the deposit.
These terms are in place to discourage last-minute cancellations and to protect availability for other guests.
3. Responsibility During Hire
The hirer accepts full responsibility for the beach hut, its contents, and any guests using the facility during the hire period.
4. Damages or Missing Items
Any damage, breakages, or missing items identified after your booking may result in some or all of the security deposit being retained. Additional charges may apply where costs exceed the deposit amount.
5. Weather
As the beach hut is an outdoor leisure facility, weather conditions are beyond our control. No refunds or date changes will be offered due to wind, rain, cold weather, or other unfavourable conditions.
